Detection Training (20 week / 80 hour course)

This Narcotics Detection Training course will introduce you and your dog to narcotics detection training, including building your dog’s hunt drive and search desire, expanding the dog’s attention span, problem solving, documentation, proofing, building credibility & confidence, drug identification, safety, and more. This class will meet 2-3 times per week. Class locations and times will vary (will be in OC.) A nationally recognized certification test through the NNDDA (National Narcotic Detector Dog Association) will be provided at the end. This class is for serious handlers only and those looking to get into the narcotics detection industry. Space is limited to 6 dog/handler teams, sign up early!

Prerequisite: Dogs must be at least 1 year old and have basic obedience. All dogs are evaluated prior to the first day of class. You must sign up for this class on our website and a $200.00 deposit must be made to reserve a spot. The balance is due on the first day of class and the deposit will be applied to the class fee.

Cost: $2,000.00 (This does not include a dog. If you would like us to also provide you with a dog for this course, additional fees will apply. Contact us for more details.)
