Private Lessons

Each lesson is customized to you and your needs. Our trainers will work with your busy schedule. You may choose if you would like the trainer to come to your home, meet you at a local park or you can come to our large indoor training facility and work with a trainer one on one. You can work on obedience, control, house / potty training issues and much more. Our trainers are certified and are some of the best you will see. We offer private lessons for the following; DOG TO DOG (OR OTHER ANIMAL) INTRODUCTION, POTTY / HOUSE TRAINING, OBEDIENCE TRAINING (ALL LEVELS), BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION (BAD HABITS / POOR MANNERS / FEAR / AGGRESSION ISSUES, SEPERATION ANXIETY), THERAPY DOG TRAINING, TRACKING, PERSONAL PROTECTION TRAINING, PUPPY MANNERS / BASICS, AGILITY TRAINING, REMOTE COLLAR TRAINING, BOUNDARY CONTROL, NARCOTIC DETECTION, RALLY-O / COMPETITION OBEDIENCE AND MORE!

Initial Consultation

If your first private lesson with us is for multiple behavior issues, aggression and/or obedience training and you have not attended our Basic Obedience class orientation in the past, your first private lesson will be two - three hours. This is so that we may get to know you & your dog, discuss any issues you are having, orientate you with equipment, training techniques, take care of paperwork, and to share valuable insight & knowledge with you. The fee for the initial two - three hour lesson is the hourly rate of your choosing multiplied by two - three. After the initial consultation, lessons are an hour or half hour in length depending on which lesson duration and location you choose.

Specialized one hour "one time" lessons in your home are available anytime if you are wanting assistance with only one particular issue or problem that needs to be resolved.

Please note:

Half hour private lessons are not available for in-home lessons.
The initial two - three hour orientation is not included in our package rates.
We offer a two hour Basic Obedience Orientation make-up private lesson at a discounted rate of $60/ hour. This is for those individuals that are enrolled in our Basic Group Obedience class but can not attend the first 4-hour class without dogs. If you choose to do a make up Basic class orientation private lesson, the first lesson of the Basic Group class will be deducted from the Basic Group class fee.
We offer a large discount for in-home and facility private lessons to clients while they are participating in one of our basic group classes.
New clients will be asked for a credit card to reserve their 1st private lesson with us.
A $25.00 fee will be charged for cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment or for “no shows”.
Private lesson credit not used within 4 months of your last lesson will be forfeited.
Private lessons with the owner Caroline Haldeman are $90.00 / hour and she only does them at the Yorba Linda facility. Package rates are not available when seeing her.

$160 / hour - (41 - 50 miles)
$200/ hour - (51 - 60 miles)
$240 / hour - (61 - 70 miles)
$290 / hour - (71 - 80 miles)

Multiple dog rates are an additional $20.00 / hour per dog
